Account & Verification
You register in the GSS app area. Every Register and Open account control on this site goes straight to it. You enter your personal details, then complete identity verification, and GSS reviews the information before confirming the account.
You will need a valid, unexpired government-issued identity document. The exact list of documents accepted is not published here yet; the app shows you which ones it can take before you upload anything.
Some checks complete automatically and others need a person to review them, which takes longer. We do not publish a target time, because a figure we cannot meet in every case is worse than none. You are notified as soon as your account is ready.
Close your account from your account settings. Before it can close, your balance needs to be zero and any pending payments need to have settled. Some records are kept afterwards because financial-crime law requires it; the retention period is set out in the Privacy Policy.
An account can be restricted while a security or compliance review is carried out. We contact you with what we can share, and there is often information we are not permitted to disclose. Email support and we will take it from there.
