See all questionsWhat can I do with the GSS wallet?
In the GSS app area you can see your balances and account activity, hold balances in more than one currency and exchange between them, send payments to a bank account by IBAN, and get statements. If your account has its own IBAN, you can also receive payments into it from outside GSS. What is available to you can depend on your account and on the outcome of verification.
Who can open a GSS account?
Under the Terms of Use you must be at least 18, have full legal capacity, be able to enter into a binding agreement, and not be subject to international sanctions. Meeting these conditions does not by itself mean an account will be opened: whether GSS and its financial partners can offer you one is decided during identity verification, and an application can be declined.
Where do I find my IBAN?
Sign in to the GSS app area and open Overview or Accounts. If your account has its own IBAN, it is shown with the account, labelled IBAN, with a button to copy it; Accounts also shows the full account details. If no IBAN is shown, your account does not have one.
Does every GSS account come with an IBAN?
No. An IBAN is provided through one of GSS’s financial partners and is not available to every customer. Some accounts are internal: they hold a balance and a history but cannot receive payments from outside GSS. Whether an IBAN can be provided depends on verification and on the partner’s own checks, and the partner may decline. If an IBAN can be requested for your account, the option appears in the app area.
